  • Take out the tray output and lift the extender of the tray.

Step 5: Align the ink cartridges

  • To achieve best print quality, the ink cartridges need to be matched.
  • Tap OK after loading the paper and the printer prints an alignment page automatically.
  • Head up the lid of the scanner.
  • Place the alignment page on the scanner glass on the printer side and position it around the glass in accordance with the graved guides.

  • Close the deck of the scanner.
  • To scan the page and complete the alignment of the ink cartridge, tap OK.

Step 6: Install the printer software

  • Your hardware HP printer is now installed and printing software can be installed. Don’t try attaching your printing system to a machine until the printing software tells you.
